I have been through stages of very good health and serious physical and emotional challenges, riding the roller coaster of the highs and lows.
The idea of self-healing intrigued me since I was in my 20s. After reading many books and becoming a massage therapist and bodyworker, I became seriously ill. I then turned to the dance-movement arts and learned that I could move and express the anger, sadness, love, joy and all of the emotions that were inside me. I felt better and, many times, ecstatic, after I danced. I knew I had to bring this way to other people who were in pain, too.
